My name is Julie Machak and I have owned and operated JM Custom T-shirts and More. I had lived in the Coal City and Braidwood area for 15 years. Three years ago we moved to North Georgia but I'm still working and I'm happy to help with all your custom needs. Even though we do mainly custom items we've also done local school uniforms as well as Spirit wear. We have many items that we can make for you form, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats, drink tumblers, mugs, home products, banners, garden flags, etc. We use different types of media, from screen printing, Full color Direct to Garment transfers, Full color sublimation, as well as embroidery. Our turn around time is pretty quick most of the time it can be a couple of weeks or a couple of days depending on the product(s) you are ordering.
I have grown my business strictly from word of mouth. I have many return customers and business' all around our local area from Wilmington, Coal City, Braidwood to as far as Dyer, Indiana and now here in the North Georgia areas of Ellijay and Jasper.

So, here's a little bit about me and how I got started in this business. I had just quit my job as an Administrative Assistant and just wanted to do something else. I went to JJC and took some graphic design classes and was going to do more with web sites but that didn't pan out. So, I sat at home for a while and one day I saw an ad in the paper for School bus drivers. Now why on earth you say would I want to do that? Well, I had always wanted to see if I could get a CDL and I did! I started working for Wilmington Schools as a bus driver and it was there that this idea of making t-shirts and other things came about. Many of the mom's that drove the buses wanted Spirit wear that was more custom to their own child or children. So, it began. I started in one bedroom and now it has expanded to the basement of my house. Because I don't have the overhead of the chain stores, I am able to offer, usually better pricing!
